Kidnapping Method

Kidnapping methods are such as following: buying cookies or giving money, lying that parents are in the hospital, asking to hold something or pickup something, luring them into a quite alley, asking for directions or other methods using forces, and requests money and valuables after.

Kidnapping Prevention

• When a stranger calls your name and acts close, do not answer and quickly run away.
• When a stranger gives you money, cookie, drink, etc., do not take it.
• When a stranger asks for directions, only explain it from current location, but never follow.
• When the place where you met the stranger is far from home, call home at a safe place (Child Safety House, friend's house, stores, markets, schools, etc.)
• Do not go to a dark alley, vacant lot, amusement park, etc. where the risk of kidnapping is high by yourself.
• Do not play outside until late.
• Use safe routes to kindergarten or school with friends.
• When going outside, come back on time, and do not go to another place than what you have told your parents.
• Avoid carrying expensive belongings such as wearing expensive clothes, watch, and bag.
